Gosavi Community Progress Initiative (Gosavi Vasti Vikas Prakalp)
'Gosavi' is a nomadic community that exists near Nanded - a place near Pune. This initiative has been initiated since 1982, kinder garden (Balwadi), adult literacy classes, formal education, deaddiction, superstition elimination, income oriented training, cultural teaching and freedom form loans are various areas in which the work has been started since past 24 years. The tribal community has achieved good progress since the start of this initiative. Recently a felicitation of the 6 girls from the community was organized. All of them completed their higher secondary education and having good job opportunity. They are the pioneers from the community for the girls’ education.This project has been handed over to the local leadership evolved during the implementation of this project.Recently One girl from this community got the admission in Airhostess Academy (AHA) for which Vanchit Vikas has taken the responsibility of Paying her Fees which is 1 lac 18 thousand, she will repay this amount after she is employed and this amount will be recycled for the further education of the other needy children.
Adivasis (Tribals) Progress Initiative (Adivasi Vikas Prakalp) - Madhya Pradesh
In Chindwada district of Madhya Pradesh in Sauser taluka the organization has initiated progress initiative in 10 villages since 1996.This initiatives is for overall village progress and includes water conservation, cash crop farming, Hygiene education and general education. The farming initiatives started since last 8 years have been successful and the farmer health has improved. Also since 2004 the focus has been set on girls and women for their empowerment education and welfare.

Villagers Progress Initiative (Gramin Vikas Prakalp)
Three initiatives in three regions of Maharashtra are currently ongoing which were initiated by VV. In Vidarbha Yavatmal district the project initiated for welfare of Adivasis (tribals) has been completed and the villagers are now made self-sufficient. They look after their own production and sales.
Adivasi Sammelan
The earthquake affected areas in the Marathwada region several efforts were made for re-settlement of farmers and farm workers. This work was undertaken from December 1993 to 2000. Currently earthquake affected 10 villages in Osmanabad district are been worked upon since 2001. Education, Physical health and hygiene, Abhiruchi classes etc are in progress. Other initiatives to make these villagers self-sufficient are still to start.
In Junnar taluka in western Maharashtra (Pune district) another initiative is started for helping adivasis (tribals). In these areas the focus is not only education and general training, but also educating them about HIV / AIDS and deaddiction etc.

Fundamental Projects
Manav-Nirman
Every three months this initiative sets up education camps. The volunteers are provided with information on various subjects - entrepreneurship, savings, monetary aspects / finance, etc.
Manav Nirman Volunteer Meeting
Our intention is to start a training, documentation and research center for spread of educational awareness in all sections of our society. To reach our goal we need full time or part time Social workers. The need arises also to train common man in this respect hence in every three months we arrange camp and training programmes.In 2007 a training camp was held at J P Naik center,Pune where past issues faced by the volunteers were discussed and the future planning was done
Vipul
It is a publication of the organization that focuses on its members and prepares them for social welfare, national upbringing and useful advice. Around 14 books have been published through this initiative.
